Privacy Policy

ImprovementOS ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

When you use ImprovementOS, we collect the following:

• Account information — your name and Apple ID email address, provided via Sign in with Apple.
• Identity data — your goal, identity declaration, identity labels, and evidence actions you create within the app.
• Usage data — evidence logs, daily completions, and pattern data generated by your use of the app.
• AI interaction data — goals and declarations sent to our AI to generate identity content. These are processed by Anthropic's Claude API and are not stored beyond the generation request.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalise the ImprovementOS experience
• To generate your identity declaration, labels, evidence actions, and morning briefs via AI
• To sync your data across devices via Supabase
• To process subscription payments via Apple In-App Purchase

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS US-West. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use Row Level Security to ensure your data is only accessible to you.

4. Third-Party Services

• Anthropic (Claude API) — used to generate identity declarations, labels, evidence suggestions, and morning briefs. Data sent is limited to your goal and declaration. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — database and authentication. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Apple — Sign in with Apple and In-App Purchase. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat (Superwall) — subscription management. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Your data is only shared with the service providers listed above, solely to operate the app.

6. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app under Settings → Delete account. This permanently and irreversibly deletes all your data including your profile, identities, evidence logs, and account credentials.

7. Children's Privacy

ImprovementOS is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
